Default Are you happy with what you spent on xmas?

Or can you do better next year? Because of lack of organization, I spent approx. $30 on each relative this year. I want to do way better next year- getting that down to $10 per person. Is that possible, or am I dreaming? Anyone achieve their xmas budget goals this year, and if so, how did you do it?

We draw names on Steve's side of the family and our limit is $10.So yes,it CAN be done. I always try and buy my gifts the Christmas before for 50% off. They get a nice gift and I still stay within the limit.

I still hope to do better next year with the kids.Watching for sales etc.

We spent $49.00 this year for Christmas for 6 kids, all our grandchildren and for my mom.

We had a homemade Christmas and next year, we won't spend any $$ because absolutely everything will be homemade.

I was until I was adding up receipts today. It was a combo of regular spending plus extras that was eye opening. Glad I plan to use up reserved food supplies for my nyrs resolution . Staying out of the store for a bit is a good thing.

I stayed within my budget this year for the very first time. I was entering all my recepts into MS money today, and was really impressed with what I actually spent!!
For December, so far, (I have a couple more receipts to go that I can't find at the moment ) I only spent 68.00 on Groceries and under 300 for all gifts.
I am going to try to do better next year though and actually PLAN and MAKE more of the gifts!!
