Question What are you planning on making for Christmas 2003?

I know I'll be making more candles and mixes and probably more scrap book pages for my parents scrapbooks.I'll probably make one for dmil and journal jars for dmil, dfil, dmoms, ddad and my friends mom.I really want to make a few personalized christmas yard signs for each family and ornaments for the kids.

I don't have a lot of ideas but one I do have is to crochet a blanket for my Mom. She has been trying to teach me to crochet for a very long time and I just haven't been interested in it. I am learning right now and I will surprise her!! She will be thrilled.

I want to make my own Christmas cards this year too!!!

I am also going to try the no sew fleece blankets that are really popular right now, and I saw a very cute pattern (posted here) for really cute fleece hats and I want to make a few for my nieces!

I will be baking more Christmas Goodies for Christmas 2003.
My Dad just found out he is a Diabetic so I have to find some Good Christmas Goodies that he can eat that are Sugar Free.
I will also be trying my hands at making Homemade PotHolders Sewing them together by hand.
That is all I can think of at this time.

I picked up some Echro yarn and I'm crocheting 3-D Snowflake ornaments. If I connect them properly and starch them....we'll see how they turn out.

I am going to sit down this weekend and make out my 2003 Christmas Master List...I'm not looking forward to the "blank paper"...eeeeek....Though it will go with my "blank" brain!

I have no idea! I have plenty of clear glass ball ornaments so I can make something with those. I also want to get ds's snowman quilt made this year (but it won't be a Christmas present since he knows about it). I may put together some mix gifts this year, some cake in a mug gifts, or some scented coasters.

I will be making soap and candles, gifts in a jar, as soon as I figure out how to crochet I will be starting on some afghans, some scrapbooks(thank goodness for the talented ladies here so I can learn some of this stuff ) and some of those no sew fleece blankets and pillows.

Default I haven't decided totally yet.

I know I'll make a quiet book for at least one great nephew, some plastic canvas "paper" dolls for some great nieces, and probably some puppets and Barbie doll clothes for some as well.

I'll be making some afghans, pillows, potholders and plaemats for a few adults on my list as well.

My co-workers always get Christmas ornaments- so I'll be working on those too.

my sister wants some sequence and beaded ornaments. i made her and my mother each one last year and she really liked it. she sent me some soap stuff that she hasn't gotten around to using so i'll use that to make her some soaps. i'll also make some paper star ornaments and some other ones that are a little hard to describe. basically you cut out a bunch of circles and trace a triangle on tehm then score the lines so you can fols flaps. then you glue them together. martha stewart has a kit to make them with but you can make them from old christmas cards.
i'll make cookies for her husband and get him an astronomy themed calender.
i'm not sure what to do for my folks yet.
dd is going to get a crocheted blanket, but i'll wait till september to do that since she will be in school then.
not sure what to do for ds yet either.
