Hot toys and gifts this holiday?

First, I have to admit with ds being only 2, we haven't had to be too up to date with the newest hot toy, but I am curious what's the rage.

My brother purchased some Harry Potter figurines for ds's birthday. I haven't opened them though. They have recommended age of 8+ and ds is 2. *LOL*

I would like to think that I am not the type to buy the latest hot toy/gifts;however, dh is the type that purchases the latest hot toy for himself, so I have quite the battle here. *LMAO*

For anyone wanting Elmo,I saw it at Walmart for $13.50 yesterday. That's a good price, I think. I didn't buy it for ds. (he has never liked Elmo)

I went to toys r us and it seemed every person that passed me with a cart had spy vision goggles and leap pads.
