Holiday Decorations

When do you begin to put up your holiday decorations? Do you do both inside and outside the house?

We decorate inside only. Usually, our decorations go up sometime during the weekend after Thanksgiving. We followed through on that this year, and put things up Saturday. Our decorating is rather simple, a couple of things I hang on my door, one shelf in my curio cabinet, a tree...I have a couple of knick knacks and one other decoration (carasauel) that will go in the library after I organize it this week...That's it for us! Oh, the gifts are wrapped and under the tree as well (except for the one small gift that would make noise if bumped...it's hiding in the crawlspace, lol)

We usually put up most of the decorations right around the first of December. We will be gone that weekend, so we already have them up this year.
We decorate full tilt inside, garlands, taablecloths, figurines, etc.
Outside, I just hang a wreath and change my garden flag. Put a poinsettta on the table out front.

We do wait until sometime in the middle of the month to put up the tree though. The anticipation builds by having everything else already done.
