We're doing a repeat of Thanksgiving too. No one here likes ham, but we all like turkey. :-)
Meal for 3 adults and one toddler.

We do a big meal for Thanksgiving. For Christmas I usually do a buffet. I try to fix different things but, usually have cold cuts, sliced ham, cheeses, a variety of breads, some salads, pies, and a few other items. My children always look forward to it.

I love the buffet idea. I think that's a wonderful thing to do for Christmas.

We do Christmas Eve as our big celebration with my family-we do that typical Italian Catholic 5 course, lots of fish no meat celebration. Christmas day my brother in-law and my step son join my family and we do a ham, roast beef, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes and a few dozen assorted vegetables, gravies and then desserts served buffet style. My mother has let the cooking get way out of hand--there used to be more of us and she got very used to cooking the holiday dinners for 20, now that we generally number around 10 we eat leftovers for the next week.
