Smile Your Favorite Christmas Gift From The Past?

What was the gift you remember most from years past? Was it remembered because of what it was or, who gave it to you? I remember a childrens' Bible that my parents bought for me when I was seven years old. I still have it. I wrote my own name in it when I was seven. I often look at it and think, "Was I that little seven year old girl?" Time sure passes quickly. What gift do you still have or what gift do you remember?

I can't say this was my favorite, but it's one of the more memorable Christmas gifts when I was a child.
My mom wrapped a stuffed animal once. (generally she wouldn't wrap stuffed animals) It was pretty fat looking. I remember opening it and it was this giant fish. (with huge pucker lips)
It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. I loved it so much that I found one similar at Target and got it for my son last Christmas.

When I was sad my mom would grab it and talk to me with it to try and cheer me up. *S*

My fav christmas gift was a teddy bear that I named Cinnamon. He now belongs to my son but I still get to cuddle him when I'm feeling blue..

Mine was my Chrissy and Velvet growing hair dolls. I thought they were the most beautiful dolls in the world and I loved them dearly. I am sure that I had other gifts that I loved just as much but those stand out in my mind above the others for some reason.

I would have to say my phone. I got my very own phone and my very own phone number when I was 16. I can still remember that number.

Ok, this might sound strange, but mine are the Christmas ornaments that my parents got for me each year. Every ornament has my name and the date on it and represents something special that was going on in my life at that point and time. I'm now 40 years old and they still do this for my hubby and I and our children. Looking through those ornaments each year brings back wonderful memories! We do this for our children also.
