Default Anyone Not having Turkey or Ham?

    Besides me that is?

We were supposed to be having ham, which is in the freezer but SO and DD have decided that we should have Chicken and Dumplings instead. Now I love SO's Dumplings, they are like big fluffy clouds but I was thinking ham or turkey. He wants to wait until his dd comes in at Christmas and have turkey then and just keep the ham for later. Since I am not cooking, I don't want to upset the so it looks like Chicken and Dumplings for Thanksgiving at my house. There will still be pumpkin pie - I did make sure of that.

Anyone else not having the traditional foods?

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Lasagna (sp?) salad, cheese bread, we had a turkey dinner last weekend and it is just gonna be us and the kids so we don't want to work to hard on the dinner.

Guess it will be just that old guy that lives here & me for Thanksgiving. Maybe I will buy a "Sams Club" cooked chicken, one of their pies, fresh asparagus & make some baked potatoes. We already did Thanksgiving Dinner with the Family last week. Hope everyone has a wonderful dinner & a great day with your Family's.

Canadians celebrated their thanksgiving last month, but I just served a nice roast beef, veggies, mashed potatoes and a salad. Dh's friend brought over a pumpkin pie.

I'm having a bolgna sandwich, chips, and a cookie or candy bar. I have to work- so I miss all the good foods

Dh and kids are going to his parents- they'll have ham AND turkey. My sis is taking my parents to the truck stop to eat- they'll have turkey too.
