Smile I think I found the Christmas spirit...

For years I have dreaded Christmas coming....all the work attached to this special day, the gifts to buy, etc...WELL!

Yesterday, I forgot to tell you all....

I did some Christmas crafts. I rarely do crafts, because I don't take the time and post-pone to do so, all the time, waiting for the *perfect* moment...

Well, this morning, I woke up, for the first time in years, and I was happy to get up! What a suprise it was for me! Every morning is always so hard to get out of bed...well this morning, I was just so excited and looking forward to do some more Christmas crafts! Isn' t it great!!!??

and I'm looking forward to Christmas and decorating....usually we decorate like 2 weeks before...well this year, I told Pierre, we will decorate starting this week!

That's what I wanted to share! Thanks for listening to me again!

That's great Lucie! I've found that if I want to do any crafy type hobbies or decorating, I have to MAKE the time to do them and skip some chore or learn to say no to things other people ask me to do.

It's great that you've found something that makes you happy

Yes, do make time for crafts Lucy! I never, never made time for crafts, but dreamed about it always! Now, that I saw how happy it makes me, I really want to keep on doing some regularly.

Michelle, you know, I've been getting good at saying no..or at least I try to stay away far from people I know would ask me all the time. I'm starting to love being more home...

Darlene, I transformed two straw hats in Christmas wall hangings... with a glue gun, I put artificial christmas leaves, red berries, and a nice red pladed bow at the bottom. They are quit simple, but it's a start. Actualy, I like them alot! I send something similar to Heather (Calico) last july's swap. I'll take a picture and try to scan it, before Christmas.

I am so happy for you Lucie!! Making the time is the biggest part. I find I have to do that as well or it'll never get done.

And my beautiful wall hanging will be proudly displayed this Christmas. You did a wonderful job!!!!

Oh Lucie, what a wonderful post to read first thing this morning. I can read your happiness in your post and that just made my day.

Isn't crafting wonderful. It gives us something to focus on and our creative side comes out. I can now hardly wait to see the picture.
