Default What are you getting for your DH??

I am at a lost as to what to get him. He went shopping today and came home with 6 presents for me to open. I will feel bad if I don't get him something good.

His favorite college team is LSU and New Orleans Saints is his professional football team. Can you tell he is from Louisiana?? He volunteers in the fire department and loves coaching baseball. He also enjoys going to watch Chris play baseball, football and basketball. He likes action movies.

I thought if I gave you some info about him, someone could come up with the PERFECT gift for him.

**If all else fails, I can always use Debbie's bubble wrap and wrap myself up.**

LOL! I'm sure he would love the bubble wrap idea!!! OK, my hubby loves action movies also, so this year I am making him a Macho Movie Basket! In it I have some of his favorite all time action flicks on video, microwave popcorn, his favorite candy bars, and a couple liters of his favorite pop.

You can alway go with T-shirts and sweat shirts of your hubby's favorite teams. Or you could have a shirt made up for him in the fireman theme. I used to have one that said "Firefighters are always in heat!" I know, bad, but I got it for being a pretty young thing riding on the fire engine of a volunteer fire department!!! LOL!

Ok, the bubblewrap idea sounds good!! But, I would probably get him a sweatshirt/hat/jacket with his favorite team on it. Mike is also very difficult to buy for--I'm clueless what to buy him too.

I haven't given much thought to what to give my DH. We usually limit what we spend on each other's gifts to $20. My hubby hates to get clothes of any kind as a gift. Sometimes he gets a favorite magazine subscription, a book, or a video game.

i got hubby a panoramic print of the cincinnati, ohio skyline. we used to live really close to there and we both worked in cincinnati. we miss it a lot. i think he will like it. i'd like to have it framed too. i also got him a dvd of "the hunt for red october." he is also a huge rams fan, and a bengals fan.....so, i might try to get him something else. not sure yet....depends on the money situation.

Here are some links I have for police-themed gifts, and most of these sites also have firemen items (many military as well):
    http://www.giftoftoys.com/profession/index.html
    http://www.galls.com/category2.html?...catalog&cat=15
    http://firegraphics.com/index.html
http://www.catholicshopper.com/produ...firemedal.html (This site sells police/fireman saint medals.)

My Dh is a HUGE Cincinnati Bengals fan, and every year he gets tons of Bengal stuff (shirts, keychains, mugs, etc etc) and he always likes it as long as it has the Bengals logo. So, maybe something with the Saints on it for your DH?

DH is getting a leaf blower as his big gift. He keeps telling me we need one, and going to borrow his grandma's.... well, I got a great deal on one at Sears ($42 and it's Craftsman). The only trouble is, I hid it in the garage-- and I hid it so well, he piled other boxes on top of it. He may have to dig out his own present on Christmas morning!

I am making a nine patch quilt for DH. It's to take in the truck with him during the week. A little piece of home while he sleeps in his bunk! This year (or next should I say) we are building a new bathroom so that is our present to each other. Not too romantic but we both really, really want a new bathroom!!

LOL Amy! I am sure once you tell DH where is present is, he will be just like a kid digging it out from under all those boxes.

I am still thinking I should call Debbie up and borrow that bubble wrap.
