How do you display your holiday cards?
I've taped mine all along the upper cabinets in the family room the last couple of years, but I'm bored with that, plus some of them end up falling down.
We had a wire card-holder that fits over a door, but then every time you opened that door all the cards fell off, so I wound up taping them, too, which was a pain.
I was thinking of taking long pieces of ribbon and attaching the cards to that, maybe over the fireplace (no mantle).
What do you do with yours?

Ok, after I posted my question above I went surfing and found some neat ideas:

This one looks like the fabric & ribbon memory boards.

Yarn around a can- I've never seen this idea before!

Snowman card clips-- I think I saw this on the village once before! Very cute! I might just do this, although since my family room is all done in penguins at Christmas, I might turn these snowmen into penguins.

This one is a huge foam-core board candy cane to put the cards on.

Angel ribbon display... this is more like what I was originally thinking of doing.

My Mom has always done this and I do now too. I tape them around an open doorway. (from the kitchen into the livingroom) They are there for all to see, I usually only have to retape a few over the season.

I usually hang mine on the back of the door or along the entry way to the kitchen.
I would like something different as well.~*Michelle*~

I usually hang them from the door frames to the kitchen. I have two, one on each side. I bought a card holder this year from the school fund raiser. I will try that, but if it doesn't work, I will just go back to hanging them around the door frame.

I usually tape mine around a doorway. This year I bought a cardholder off of ebay that hangs over a door and lights up but it's too big for my doors,,(this thing is huge) so I guess it's back to hanging them around the doorway.

I don't get all that many cards so I just sit them on our entertainment center.

We've been in a different house each year for the last 4 years....last year's house - I taped them to the back of my upper kitchen cabinet's which let them show in the dining room....year before's house - I taped them to a column that was the "load bearing pole"....year before's house - taped them around the entry to the dining room.....year before that - taped them to our mirrored dining room wall..... *I'm seeing a pattern here* ....
Where oh where shall I tape them in this house?!
