Default christmas countdown craft for kids

I made this little Christmas countdown craft for Zachary today. Print out the bell image add poem and paper links for as many days left before Christmas. I hung ours in the livingroom.

    How many days till Christmas?
    It's mighty hard to tell.
Take off a link every night
When the Sandman casts his spell,
And Christmas Eve will be here
By the time you reach the bell.

    I used this bell template:

    and resized it a bit.

Awe that is so cute. Zachary should really enjoy counting down the days until Christmas. My kids, even at their age, love the countdown calendars. You know the ones (with chocolate in them).

That's cute! Even our bigger kids like doing things like this!

A little late, but could still be done for the kids. I am posting this because I want to do this one next year and I'll forget if I don't post it to the forums. lol

Cool idea. I'll have to do it next year too, we have a limit as to how many candy canes we have each year. Were on our second box and thats it!! Even though they are only 99˘ a box, we limit them.

Great idea for next year though and the kids can make it themselves.
