    Hopefully Santa!

Just the 4 of us too + dd's boyfriend (He practically lives here. I think he's missed only 7 dinners in the last year)
I like not leaving the house for Christmas.

Well if you mean for Christmas day specifically, I don't know. Usually we head to my Fil's or my dh's Nana's for a while, then race back home to entertain my parents who are in from out of town.

I'm not sure what the plan is this year because they are staying with my brother for the first time. Maybe we'll be racing back to his house for dinner since he plans to stay put that day. (I wish!)

As for Christmas Eve, we'll be having our annual party here, and I'll have about 15-20 people over that night.

It will just be dh, myself and my mom...We do the family thing on Christmas Eve day..it's so much easier that way as trying to get a hold of every one on x-mas day with the nieces & nephews going between their parents houses was really hard.

Our DS will be home from school for the holidays as well as his long-time girlfriend, and she'll be here for C'mas dinner. My Mom will be here from Canada. Then add DH, DD, and I and that makes 6. Then we'll all pile in the van on the 26th and drive up to Canada for a few days. I'm hoping for a snow-free drive next week to go and get my Mom and bring her here, and then again after C'mas for the next trip up to take her back ... don't think it's going to happen though.

Christmas Eve will be spent with DH's side of the family at his parent's home and then Christmas day will just be us here at home!!!! Yippee! We can sleep in, lounge around in jammies, and open presents slowly. This is going to be such a nice change for the usual rush on Christmas morning to make a long and early drive to the inlaws house on icy roads. Last year we were all told to be there by 9 a.m.. We drove there (45 minute drive) and DH'd brother and his wife drove down (2 hur drive) only to find that their sister and her hubby (who live with MIL and FIL) were taking their sweet time getting ready and finally came upstairs 1 1/2 hours later to even greet us! I was livid and so were the rest of the adults. We could have all slept in a bit more and/or had more time with our won families at home. That is one of the many reasons we are staying home for Christmas this year!
