Do you dress up for the holiday?
or have holiday type clothes? Like pajamas, sweatshirts, jewelry?
I was raised dressing up for all holidays, but since marrying...we don't dress up.
I'm hoping that changes sometime.

I have some that I wear to work- T-shirts and sweat shirts mostly. I just bought me some elf socks with jingle bells to wear to work on Christmas eve - I hope it doens't get on the patient's nerves too much. The bells are pretty quiet.
I also buy holiday fabrics , AFTER the holiday and then sew scrub tops and lab jackets for next year.

We don't dress up either, but we all have pajamas we wear on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.

No we don't dress up either. But I think once I lose the weight I want to, I might decide then to get dressed up.

I usually wear jeans and tshirts or sweatshirts/sweaters on a daily basis, so on Christmas Eve and Christmas day I like to dress up a bit. It's probably just what most people wear to work, but it makes me feel good to wear dress boots, jewelry. I don't stray too far from my daily wardrobe, but I accessorize it a bit so I don't feel like it's just another day.
For example, this year I am wearing black moleskin pants (feel like suede), dress boots (with a heel), and either a vneck red or green sweater. Then I'll wear a dressy bracelet, necklace, and earrings.
Sara, why don't you start dressing up? You dress the kids, so get them something dressy to wear, and do the same for yourself. Gabe can either follow suit or be a party pooper

When I used to go to the 11 pm service at my church on Christmas Eve, I used to dress up, but I haven't been since having dd, so I don't dress up. Christmas, itself, winds up being a very long day, shipping the family between both sets of grandparents, and I really just want to be comfortable.

I'm another one who LOVES Christmas!
I have holiday clothes for literally every holiday of the year-- socks, shirts, sweaters, jewlery, etc. I wear it to work (nursing home Activity Director) and at home.
We dress up for Christmas eve-- midnight mass and dinner at my parents'. Other Christmas parties and events are casual, so I wear jeans and one of my many Christmas sweaters/sweatshirts.

When I was younger and and everyone lived in the same town I would dress nice: Dress pants or Khakis and a nice top.
Now since we have to travel all over the state and spend most of our Christmas holiday on the road.
When we live closer to both families I may start again, but being 3-4 hours from both and then them living an hour apart from each other Christmas time is stressful enough as it is trying to please everyone and therefore I just want to dress comfortable.

We all just wear our jammies in the morning and then get dressed up nice if we are going to MIL's. This year, since we are doing Christmas Eve with them and hopefully going a a Christmas Eve service, we will all be dressing up then. Christmas day at home will be comfortable clothes or we'll be in snowgear if we get enough snow to go snowboarding!!!!

We don't wear really dressy clothes but if we're going somewhere or having company for dinner we put on our better clothes (I mean I never ever wear a dress or pantsuit). I have a few sweaters that have Santa, etc... and some Christmas jewelry as well. (But then you knew I would have the jewelry, right?)

I dress very simply,_mostly becuase since I gained weight, I am uncomfortable in dressy clothes.
But then you ladies gave me an idea, though! Seat shirts with a santa or christmas jewelery...that's fun!

I have a few vests and sweatshirts for the Christmas season, a couple for the Fall season and one for Halloween. I like necklaces and stuff that reflects holidays to wear to work because the kids love it. But when I am on vacation during Christmas I am a sweats and t shirt girl, unless of course we go to a Christmas party, but even then I dont go to the kind where you have to wear formal wear, it is just not me especially high heels, cant wear them anymore.
