Can you explain how you made the notebook? How does the money stay in? Does it just tie close or is there something inside that holds it too?

For the money notebooks, I used cardboard from a cereal box cut about 1/4" larger than the size of the $, then folded that in half. I covered the outside of the book with contact paper, then sewed a button on the front cover. I also added a piece of embroidery floss on the back side to wrap around the button to form a closure. Then, I covered the inside (my sewing) of the cardboard with another piece of contact paper. I used ribbon wrapped twice around the fold of the notebook to hold in the $. The money is just slipped under one of the ribbons inside the notebook.

Sorry, I'm not real great at explaining things, but hopefully you can kind of get the idea!

Wow CJ, a compliment from you on a quilt means a lot. It's really just a very basic quilt with 3 different fabrics (you're supposed to use 3 different sizes of gingham, but I adjusted it a bit) in 7" squares. These quilts are the perfect size for one person to use to cuddle up in front of the TV!
