Who hands out the Christmas gifts?

On Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? Has this always been the way?

I've always handed out the gifts until the last 2 years and now I've given it over to dh. He really is enjoying it now.

How about your family?

I usually do...but sometimes I get annoyed when Dave isn't taking enough pictures

, and I change places with him.

I usually do all the picture taking, so DH hands them out.

Doesn't matter we open 'em one at a time so every gift get's it's moment in the sun.

That's right, we take turns and enjoy each & every moment of it all.

I do now with just Jack and I and the bratz!

When I was a kid my Dad did.

ONE AT A TIME!!

Now there were 9 of us at home. If Dad had to work at 7am, we would get up at 4 and maybe get 1/2 way through before he had to leave and would do the other 1/2 when he got home at 3:30pm. That's hard on little kids!

I do usually. DH prefers the camera side.
I prefer to watch everyone open their gifts then I open mine.

We do ours on Christmas Eve usually and dd always hands them out. Now with Kathryn and Joe so far away, we do it when they are home.

I have always handed out the gifts.....even when I was a kid....GW doesn't take enough pictures either so I usually have each kiddo pile up their goodies and I'll take a picture of them with all their stuff, then one of them with their favorite thing.....

Totally different though if we're with the in-laws!! The Admiral sits under the tree & hands out a gift to each person, we all tear into at the same time them show it off to everyone - takes about 15 minutes a round ---- then out of nowhere, you'll hear sleigh bells outside, then the door flies open and *voila* there's the big guy himself looking all jolly with his big sack of gifts on his back - then Santa takes the seat of honor and starts handing out gifts to each of the kiddos!! After that it's total mayhem!! A good kind of mayhem though!!

I do, it's just dh, my Mom and myself here for Christmas so I just hand out all the gifts and then we open them.

zzzzzaz, said the baby! This year I wrapped each kids presents in different paper. I will pile them up separately under the tree on Christmas eve. Ds#1 is usually the one under the tree looking for more gifts, so if there are any, he hands them out.
