    Default 6 months til Christmas!

    How are your plans coming along?

    I have several batches of jams and jellies ready to go. Baskets purchased at yard sales, and lists made of the other food items I'll be making to go in the gift baskets.

    I have some gift items purchased and ready to go.

    I have made several hats, scarves, afghans, toys for gifts- but have an even longer list of ones I'd like to complete before THE day.

    How are you doing?

    NO.............. it's can't be that close already! Luckily I have quite a few things done already. Most of the gifts are alreayd bought. I only have to figure out something for the inlaws and make some jams to give.

    that I'll attach to Hershey bars for some of my coworkers. I always do something small for about 18 people at work, so I have to keep it pretty simple.

    I have one gift bought. I usually get a good start on my shopping at the end-of-summer sales.

    I have the potential to develop several gift baskets out of my gift stash, but I haven't really gone through that stuff yet.

    I just bought another book this week on homemade mixes and other homemade gifts and I've been reading it the last few nights.

    I need to get busy!

    I have made 4 book thongs and bought beads for more today. Old world Santas have been made but need to be painted. We will need to make up more. I still want to make some rugs but need to finish a few that I have promiced to others first. We looked at some baskets at yard sales today , but I didn't like any of them. I'm thinking of painting and decopaging some large coffee cans. The blackberries are about ready for picking and we bought the sugar for the jelly today. That is all I have accomplished so far. Thanks for the kick in the rear that is what I needed!

    I forgot to mention that I have been takinng family pictures and making them into coloring books for the great nieces/nephews, and taking pictures monthly for a calendar- will go to most all the relatives that care

    We'll make our annual Christmas video and send copies to relatives that live away, and to each set of grandparents.
