Thanks tazzie!
I have given dvd's for presents, but not in a basket....
So, you have helped me with my first gift!
My sister will receive...
A picnic basket with
"Beaches" dvd
A Bette Midler cd. (hope she has a Christmas version out)
A pair of flip-flops
Sunglasses (from the dollar store...great selection)
Suntan lotion/Aloe for "sunburns"
Fancy drink mixes/2 fancy glasses
A star-fish/shells/and sand in a glass container
A new beach towel....
Sorry, I got a bit long winded there! I'll probably pare that down, but the possibilities are endless!
And, keeping with "themes", the above items should all be on sale before December. So, remember all the holidays that we have before Christmas, and plan your theme so that you can enjoy each "holiday's" sales!

krbs...are you out there?
I have been racking my brain for a "now and then" idea...
Thanks for helping me with my second gift for Christmas 2011...
My oldest daughter is graduating from University in April 2011 (I survived! and so did she...) ((I am so proud...))
Anyway, my parents will receive one of those double frames (the ones that close up like a book), with her baby picture in one side, and graduation photo on the other!
I am really excited...two gifts down...10 to go!!

I am thinking of theme baskets for my mom and step-dad, and my sis and bill. We do not "exchange" gifts per say but we always get each other a little something.
I actually like that better. I feel like no one is over spending. The gifts are so sweet and mean more.Carrie, ravenmaniac - I love my Ravens!!!!

Okay Maui, I have to know...How did you make the wine cork wreath? I have a ton of corks that I want to use for something and have thought of doing a wreath. What kind of glue did you use? TIA!

Hi Val!! It takes a little while, but it is simplified by using a hot glue gun - placed the corks all over - in different directions and close together. Use a lot of glue on on a straw wreath and fine a finishing ribbon - I used a grape with leaves silk flower combo that looked great!!
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.
