I made the burden bear for my SIL one year (she collects very expensive bears, but I couldn't afford one of those). My SIL cried when she got it, and my $3 bear is in a glass case with all her expensive ones.

i made one for dh's grandmother, but i crocheted her a little bear and a little blanket to go with him and wrote out the poem on nice paper for her.

2012 Goals
Use the vegetables from my garden and learn to preserve.
Cut down on all unnecessary things.
Free is best.
Get the garage completely cleaned out. Half done-Until BIL and SIL stored their stuff--now back to square 1.
Make the yards nice-weed, mow, plant, flowerbeds,etc.
Stay home more/eat out less if at all.
FIND A NEW JOB!!!
