Is anyone else not shopping AT ALL (except for groceries) until Christmas is over?
Whew! We promised the kids a trip to town yesterday; and I wanted to hit Sam's Club.
The crowds! We were done shopping by 12:30 -- home by 1:30, but ... the crowds and the lines were enormous.
Except for groceries, and the occaisonal hardware item, we're not shopping anymore until after Christmas!
Well ... maybe if I find an online deal ....

Count me in on this one Early Bird. I am done, except for shopping for a few food items. I do not do well in shopping crowds at all.

Unfortunately, no. Ds has outgrown most of his pants (which I thought would fit through this winter) so he desperately needs those. I also have to finish buying stocking stuffers for dh. I have been trying and trying to find his absolute favorite candy and none of the stores have it yet!
I am finished with Sam's and WalMart until after Christmas, but we will have to go back to Sam's one evening this week because dh's cell phone is messed up and we have to replace it. Dh is also expecting his contacts that were ordered to come in and I'll have him stop by during the day to pick those up when they arrive.
I wish I could stay out of the madness, but it's not going to be possible.
After the craziness and traffic I endured on Friday just doing my regular errands, I was ready to tear my hair out!

ME ME ME!! I am done until after the holiday madness is over!!! I do this every year. However I did not do as well with it as previous years, but I am happy-2 weeks until the big day and then 1 week of return madness, and then it might be safe to return to the stores!!

I sure as heck am going to try. Unfort, I need to find two more presents for the girl who has a bday on Jan 3rd. Sheesh. Only thing I found at Dollar Tree was a notebook, the girl is notebook obsessed. But I am totally avoiding Walmart for anything. Might hit Dollar General and the salvage store on Wensday to see if they have anything I like. Hard having a bday so close to Christmas.

I love shopping on-line for X-mas gifts. As far as I am concerned, Santa drives a big brown UPS truck.

Unfortunately, as I seem to do every year (despite swearing I will do better next year) I have not even started Christmas shopping. Most of my homemade gifts are made but I am sure we will be out Dec 24 trying to finish up the little things.

I'm pretty much finished... anything that's left will most likely be done on Amazon.
I used to think that the holidays brought out really nice and happy people... but some people in those crowds are just horrible!!! I've seen some nasty stuff.

Me!
I did good this time, getting most of my Christmas shopping done throughout the year. Dh has depleted my grocery stockpile, so I'm going to have to go grocery shopping this week. I can go to Walgreens too, since I'll be in town. I'd like to pick up some goodies for the kid's stockings.
