Are you re-gifting anything this Christmas?
It's time to pull out all those gifts you aren't using, so you can re-gift.

Yes i have already done several regifts...anything in my house that is still in a package and was never used is fair game...if it hasn't been used in a years time then we won't ever use it! Merry Christmas

I have always re-gifted. I didn't see it but my daughter saw this so called "expert" on Oprah that said re-gifting was tacky.

I saw that ion Oprah and I agree I think re-gifting is tacky.
I understand not keeping something becuase you don't like/want or need it but presenting that as a gift you bought for someone else I think is tacky.....

I don't know if this counts as re-gifting - For Christmas I got Damon a magnet set but then I found a bigger better one, however, I kept the origional set cuz I knew someone would have a party to go to and sure enough Ryan did - we wrapped the magnets and he gave that as his gift!

I never regift, I too think it's tacky, if I recieve a gift I think someone else would like or use I just give it to them.

What
so wrong about it? I received several duplicates of wedding gifts and I didn't need them all. A couple of years later when i had too attend a shower for a girl I didn't really know I gave her the gift and she was happy to receive it. What difference does it make if they don't know?

I see nothing wrong with it if it has never been used, it would only be tacky if it had been used by you then rewrapped.

If its something you can't use, don't want or don't need yet you know someone else might want it, need it or be able to use it I see nothing at all wrong with re-gifting it (as long of course that it as never been opened and used by you first.
This year though I have nothing. We've thrown out so much moving this year that we don't have anything that we aren't using.

I have nothing to re-gift. Actually, I don't think I've ever re-gifted anything.
