I'm right there with you Jayne. I love the holidays but love it when they are over as well.

The last couple of Christmas' have been a bit stressful. We try to be happy, but I am glad when January rolls around. I think it's better for me to realize this and just try to keep it all in perspective. Christmas is fun, but it is not always a perfect and peaceful family get together! Onward!

I know what you mean! I also look forward to Jan. & Feb. I like when things are back to normal and everything is less hustle and bustle!

I understand, that's one of the reasons we put up our tree & decorate so late. Today is the day for both. Having the inlaws over for tree trimming & dinner tonight.

I get stressed out over the holidays and eat way too much. When I put on my jeans they were tight and I know it's because of this holiday eating.

I totally agree this year, for the first time in my life. It's just been too much for me this year, dealing the never-ending parade of construction guys that have been in and out of our house for the last month in addition to normal holiday shopping, baking, decorating, etc. I'm looking forward to getting the rooms put together (finally) after we take down the holiday stuff.
