Question Christmas week: What's on your to-do list?

I'm going to post my list here & update it as I can... maybe you guys will make me more accountable for getting it finished!

I can cross off some things that I did this morning already, but, there's still quite a few things to be done.

_X_ mail two packages (print labels & pay for postage online, wrap items, drop off at PO)

    _X_ mail Christmas cards- finally!

___ put icing on the last batch of cookies

_X_ create "dust pan cookie" trays for the neighbors

___ create cookie trays for my work and DH's work

___ deliver cookies to the neighbors

___ get ingredient list together for 7-layer salad and other "assigned" dishes for Christmas parties

___ find the box w/ our stockings and hang them

___ wrap the remaining 8,000,000 gifts

___ make the tags & put together the Hershey bar gifts for co-workers

___ clear the memory card on my digital camera so it will be ready for Chrismas

___ lay out, iron, and clean as needed our outfits for Christmas

___ frame & wrap family photos

Ugh.  I really should be off doing that stuff instead of just writing it out, but, I'm taking a break!

What's on your list for the week?

I don't really have a list left - I basically just have fun stuff to do with the kids til Christmas - I missed the post office deadline "to receive by Christmas" for a few Village friends but other than that my timed errands are done!! even my baking except for our annual cookie decorating that we will do on Wednesday.

Oh my goodness! I have lots to do!

*buy Patrick's gifts for my mom and one from us.

    *buy Daniel's gift from us.

    *buy my nephew's gift.

    *wrap our all our gifts.

    *go grocery shopping.

*write out a few cards for teachers and my close family.

    *finish decorating our home.

BUT, I want to say, that I will do what I can. The the first 4 are priority, but the rest will be done as best I can considering the short time left until Chrsitmas. I'm not going to get myself sick and crazy for Chrsitmas...I'm already tired enough...

    I can't remember my list.

Okay I'm working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday after work - go to grocery store (again). While there buy items for stepmoms food gift box.

Wednesday - go to dermatologist before coming into work.

Thursday I'm off but take Mel back to the dr.

Friday I want to go to a Christmas Eve service and dd and I are going over to a friends house for a light dinner and just to hang out. I do need to take a dish but I am going to just use the Hickory Farms gift pack my brother sent me (arranged nicely on a platter with crackers of course). Might need to bring a dessert as well but I have to check with the hostess first.

Saturday - After I have Christmas with dd and Mel, I'll go to the nursing home to have Christmas with my brother.

All gifts except the food box are wrapped and ready. Since Mel is not up to a big meal, our Christmas dinner will be simple so not much to do there.

I still need to get the gifts wrapped and I have a ton of baking to do. However, since my kitchen is ripped up I don't know if the baking is going to happen. Grrr.......

Here are the things I can remember at the moment that I still have to do.

    ()finish 2 no sew quilts
(X)bake cookies for the mail lady
    (X)finish wrapping presents
    (X) mail out christmas packages to out of state relatives ... finally
()make a list of what I am fixing for Christmas dinner
()make sure I have everything I need for the dinner
    ()bake pies

That is all I can think of for now. I hope that is it.

I still have a few more presents to wrap, some banana bread and chex mix to make, tidy up the house some more (at least the first floor that people will see! ), and organize the dinner and brunch we'll be having on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Phew. And, try not to get stressed out so that I can enjoy it all!

    () a blueberry coffee cake
() Two deep fried turkeys (they're small, together equal 16 lbs), dh's chore.
    Gotta
    () finish last minute wrapping
() get all the household mess cleaned up
() figure out extra seating for Christmas Eve guests

um...I'm sure there's more, gotta think...

Oh There's a lot! My family is expecting Christmas gifts from me one week after Christmas because I was really sick from Dec. 2- Dec. 19! This was a lesson learned this year...do not procrastinate!

~ Worked full time Monday through Thursday.

~ Donate our office proceeds to the food shelf that I'm in charge of each year!

~Make three more batches of cookies...possibly four if I do not have enough.

~ Make buckeyes (peanut butter balls...Mmmmmm!)

~ Dip pretzles in chocolate...DH's job, but he will not have time.

~ Make two more eye pillows.

~ Make four neck wraps. and chenielle covers.

~ Finish filling out Christmas cards and mail... some of them are done!

~ Finish two outfits for my Niece.

~ Wrap the books and CD for my Niece.

    ~ Wrap all other gifts!

~ Get one more thing for DH...the quilt will have to be for next year...

~Clean the house and do all other chores... DH always helps pick up a bit.

~ Finish grocery shopping for Christmas dinner.

    ~Prepare Christmas dinner.

    ~Open Christmas presents!

~Have a wonderful Christmas day with just DH and maybe some friends in the evening.

~ Prepare packages to mail on Monday to family.

~ Bring in holiday goodies to coworkers on Monday.
