I'm back from my aunt Francine's Christmas show!
It was so heartwarming...They did a show of the story of the Grinch.
I wasn't sure if I could make it...I was 10 minutes late....Francine was so happy. She cried...she misses my father and Pierre. I showed with my fingers that in 4 days it was Christmas and she was coming with us to my father's....
I also learned by a volunteer, that the lady who cares for Francine leaves her and the other two (more severly handicapped--blind, deaf, limitted in their movemnts) ALONE sometimes!
She told me that one day she came knocking and Francine opened the door and the lady arrived ten minutes later with her car full of groceries...
So let me tell you I'm going to phone right now to find out more, at the responsible educators of Francine!
I'm relieved though...she is moving into a new home in march.
Imagine some people taking responsibilty for special people like this and being very well paid and doing this!
I'll let you know more when I get more news...

I'm so glad you got to see Francine in her show. And I'm also glad that she will be seeing your Dad in only 4 more days.
As for the "lady" that is leaving Francine and the other residents alone, well I think she should be shut down!

I am happy that you were there for Aunt Francine and enjoyed the show with her. I am sure she will be ready to come with you to your dad's house for Christmas. That is so nice that you are able to take her.
I would be upset with the lady that is suppose to be taking care of her. I would be looking for someone else or talking to someone about it.~*Michelle*~

I am sure the show was wonderful. So glad you were able to be there.
Hope things get straightened out soon with her care. Thats not a good feeling knowing they are alone and require care.
