Exclamation Had us a bit of a Christmas decorating emergency around here

But thankfully it all worked out. I could NOT find the kids' stockings! I made these stockings when they were all little and have to say that they are just about my very most favoritest Christmas decorations in the whole wide world. We have a new dil this year and I had purchased her one that looks a little like the ones I made. It looked for a while that hers' would be the only one on the mantle. Today however, Gripey got up in the attic and found the box containing the stockings. WOOHOO! I'm soooo thrilled I can't tell you! They are all now hanging neatly on the mantle and my decorations are complete (well as complete as they are going to be).
Is your decoration complete? Are you ready, ready, ready?

I am glad you were able to find them. My step-mom made some for the boys when they were smaller and they are my favorite too. I would hate to lose them.

I am ready, ready, ready!! Come on Christmas!!

I am as ready as I am going to be. I am not planning to "do" stockings this year. Molly knows "the truth" about Santa this year.

Well I don't know that I'm "doing" them either but I just love to see them hanging on the fireplace. I still have to buy some groceries, clean and cook tomorrow and the next but otherwise I am soooooo ready!

We do stockings as somewhat of a "sleep-aid", the kids can wake up early and do their stockings but they have to wait til 6:00 to get up Mr. & Mrs. Claus - who probably just finished wrapping and went to bed at 2:00 am
