Default Need ideas for angel crafts

One of my coworkers died just before the holidays last year. Where I work, we do a Festival of Trees every year for charity. My unit wants to do and angel tree this year in honor of our coworker who died. We will decorate the tree completely in Angels. So. . . . I need angel crafts suitable for a tree.

Here's any easy one that is really cute. I don't have a picture, but maybe I can explain it -

    Rose Angel

    You will need:

Silk roses (the open blooms looke the best)
    Wire cutters
Gold Wired ribbon (1.5 inches wide)
    Bumpy Chenille stems
wooden doll heads (the round bead kind with the faces painted on)
    straight gold pipe cleaners
    curly doll hair
    hot glue gun

Take the roses and cut the stem off at the base of the rose. Leave about a 1/2 inch piece of the green wire stem.

Take a bumpy shenille stem and cut it about 4 inches long

Put a drop of hot glue at the back of the 1/2 inch stem and attah the middle of the chenille stem there. Wrap around to make the angel's "arms".

Put hot glue on the end of the 1/2 inch stem and glue the doll head on.

Make a bow out of the gold wired ribbon. Glue this to the back of the angel as her wings.

Cut and glue the doll hair to the top of the doll head.

Make a circle "halo" out of the gold pipe cleaner and glue to the hair.

You can use thin gold ribbon to make a hanger and attach it to the back of your angel.

When she is finished, the rose will be upside down making her skirt. The head is on the stem part with her hair, halo and wings. I have made these and the tied bells into their "hands" too.

    Does this make any sense?
