Dd's Christmas quilt - block by block
I thought I'd post each block as I finished it in this thread. Its for Christmas. She loves purple, I don't so its a real stretch for me.
The quilt is titled As Time Goes By, has 12 blocks and is a sampler quilt. It also has a pieced border.
The first block is the Amish Star block. Although I didn't use the pattern from this website, if you want the pattern it is here. http://www.quilterscache.com/A_C/AmishStarBlock.html With each block I post here, I'll try to post a link to the pattern if I can find it on the web.

Block #2. This one was really hard. I don't think I'd make it again. Its titled Poinsettia and I couldn't find it on the net. It might be under another name though.
