Does you SO fill your stocking? What is usually in it?

My DH fills mine. He always gives me a few Godiva truffles, but other than that, it is up in the air.

I discovered that my MIL wasn't getting hers filled ever, so I started filling it a few years back. Little things, like eyeglass cases, sample lotions, decadent candies, teas, etc.

Do you have a stocking?

I do and it's a combination between DH and I that fill it, I will find things for the girls and then decide that I should have one in my stocking too ..

I still get a stocking from my Mum

although these days she hands it me instead of dropping it on the bedroom floor LOL

DH usually fills a sock for me, and my mom does too. DH tries to get creative with my sock. One year he bought me a whole bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and wrapped each individual one. And not just wrapped them all the same -- he wrapped them in weird ways, put rice in the wrapper so it sounded different than it was, wrapped it several times in Kleenex, etc. By the time it was over, I was infuriated, but now it was hilarious, thinking back.

My dh does mine-- the best was the year he saw a coupon online for diamond/semiprecious stone rings. He printed the coupon twice, stood in line for over an hour with my son- to buy my dd and me matching rings.

When he gave dd's to her, he informed her that the man who gave her, her FIRST diamonds- would ALWAYS love her.

When he gave me mine, he kissed me and claimed he'd always love me too.

Guess I should add the NORMALLY, he puts socks, candy, hats, etc in mine.

No, my dh has never filled my stocking. Don't give him ideas though, he might put a lump of coal in there, lol.

Dh always has done mine. He saves this chore for Christmas Eve shopping. The only shopping he personally does although I think my oldest dd had a hand in it last year. He fills it with small things like cologne, lotions, scented soaps, snacks, small gift certificates and scratch tickets.

I fill the girls stockings. As a matter of fact I like to shop for their stockings better than their gifts.

Dh and DDs usually fill mine with whatever they kind find at Dollar Tree! But, I like the idea of a stocking for MIL. She is so hard to buy for, so maybe this is the ticket!

Philip does mine. It usually has some type of rich chocolate, gel pens, maybe a c.d., and some small trinket.

I do his and I usually put lots of candy, a c.d., and any silly toys I think he would enjoy. We don't spend much on them but we still have a lot of fun.

Yes...Jim fills mine & I fill His...just small stuff & scratch off tickets, but we have fun going through them on Cristmas morning.

i fill dh's, but dd fills mine with moneyher daddy gives her.lol it is a joke around here, i do all the christmas shopping for everyone but me, and dd does mine, although last year dh did buy my roaster all by himself!
