Hey, that's a tradition with us.
My mom and I started doing it when I was a teenager. It's one of those brunch-fest casserole dishes. Bread on the bottom of a large baking pan, then a layer of shredded cheddar, then a layer of thinly-sliced ham, more shredded cheese, then a mixture of beaten eggs and milk poured over the entire dish. Let it sit in the fridge overnight. In the morning, bake it while the gifts are unwrapped. Nice served with toast and orange juice mixed with champagne.
I don't have the recipe, but it would be easily Googled.

Our tradition is a hold over from my childhood. The kids get to eat as much of their stocking candy as they want and top up with Christmas cookies if they feel like it. Dh and I have OJ with champagne and bacon. Probably the only time we have it all year. Yum!

That being said, the oven pancake from the TWG is very good and would be an easy one to make on a hecktic morning.
I see where many of you start Christmas morning with a mimosa. That sounds yummy I think I'll follow suit this year!

We have pastry and juice for breakfast Christmas morning. We eat 2 dinners that day and breakfast just seems like too much.
I do make quiche for Easter and this year Thanksgiving dinner is going to be late so I was thinking of making breakfast myself. I am still not sure what that will be.
