Does anyone here celebrate Advent?

We don't put up a tree until very close to Christmas but we do celebrate the drawing near of Christmas and the birth of Jesus.

I put a blue tablecloth on our table (Blue is the color of Hope) and I have a lovly advent wreath made of different fir cones and nuts/seeds. I usually have 4 plue tapers in it with one white but this year it will be all white because I don't want to spend the money for special blue ones. Then starting 4 sundays before Christmas we light one candle every evening. So the first week it is one candle, the second week 2 etc. When we light the candle we pray.

We have an advent calendar we do each year. It's doubtful we'll do it this year though since I can't lift the containers that all the Christmas stuff is in by myself and I won't get any help from dh anytime soon since he's in a rush to complete some remodeling projects and dragging out those containers is the last thing I'll get him to do right now.
