Guess What I'm getting after Christmas
Do you really want to know, do ya, do ya.....
It might not mean much to you but it means a lot to me.....
Any idea......
Nope, none, give up.....
okey don't twist my arm, I'll tell you
I'm FINALLY getting my raise

Adam told me today that they really want me to stay as long as I am able and they want me to be the store manager.
He gave me 3 new shirts today for work, and two are Khaki so I can now wear black pants instead of washing my khakis every other day....lol Now I really can wait until Sunday to wash work clothes as I have 4 pair of khakis, at least 4 pair of black pants and now (counting my regular associate T-shirts) I have 7 shirts.
Less laundry and more money, could it get any better.....lol
He want's to sit down and talk business some time after the Christmas rush is over with so looks like I have to wait a month or so, but at least now I know it's coming.

Great news!
Everytime I drive by a Ruby Tuesday I think of you, lol. You are working for some, how do you say it, mailing place still? Remember when you were so worried about getting hired? Lol! I'm glad everything is going so well. Paige sure is a cutie!

I think we've eaten there once since we left NC.
Yep, I'm still at the same place I started last year when we moved here.... The UPS Store, and it's about to start getting wild there with Christmas a month away.

I was an area manager for Mailboxes Etc. (UPS bought them out and renamed them UPS Store) for many years. Boy, was I TIRED after Christmas! Have you worked a Christmas yet? I worked 12 hrs a day, seven days a week for three weeks solid. My paycheck was amazing, but I was sooo tired and had ordered pizza three times a week for those three weeks!
Congrats on you promption and raise!

This will be my 5th Christmas working at one of these places, 2 when they were still MBE, one at a PostNet and this will be my 2nd year here. I love the crowds, it makes the day go by so quick, and I sleep so good at night after wordsOriginally posted by Lori Biever-Launder
