Are you listening to holiday music yet?

Two of our radio stations here have been playing Christmas music non-stop since after Halloween. I refused to listen until after Thanksgiving. But we turned it on this morning on the way to take Katie to school. I am determined not to be a Scrooge this year, so we are listening and singing!

I sure am! We also have two radio stations that play Christmas tunes here, one full time, and one part time I believe. I have to admit that I started listening last week! I usually listen about a 1/2 hour a day.

I haven't found any radio stations playing Christmas music yet.

Ds and I did pop in one of our own Christmas cd's while making muffins yesterday though.

We heard some Christmas music on the radio on Thanksgiving, but haven't really listened to anything since then.

Too early for me, I get overload fast. Tree won't go up until a week before Christmas & that's when I'll play the music.

Oh, just remembered, I do play Christmas music when I'm wrapping gifts.

the shops all have the music playing and this weekend they put the loudspeakers up on the main street. the first few times you hear the music playing as you walk down the street is cool but you get sick of it after a while - they only seem to have one tape and its on replay

I love Christmas music. I don't like it early in the stores because of the reason theyare playing it (to get you to buy,buy,buy) but I am the kind of person who could listen to it any tim of year. If I like a song, I like itno matter when.

I'm listening! (shades of Frasier Crane here

) I started Monday night. I mostly listen to my own tapes and c.ds but I did catch a little on the radio while running some errands yesterday. I don't really like it on the radio because it seems like they play the same 5 songs over and over (Rudolph, White Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock, etc.) There's so much Christmas music out there - there's no excuse to that kind of playlist.

I'm listening but I hope I don't get too burned out. I did listen to a mix cd that my sister made for me a few years back...too much stuck in my head days later so now I just listen to manheim steamroller or hammered dulcimer, music without words so it doesn't stick so much in my head.
