Christmas Cards?
Are you sending out Christmas cards this year? If so, are you sending out more or less than you did last year?
I am sending out about the same amount as I usually do. I may scale back next year when the price of postage goes up again but for now I really enjoy sending them and so I will be sending the same as usual.
Do you hand deliver any of your cards? I always hand deliver all of my co-workers cards. It makes me feel good to see the smile on their faces when they receive them. I have several physicians that I send cards to, I consider them co-workers since I tend to spend lots of time around them at work. I usually hand deliver them when they are on my floor too. I like to think of it as part of my frugal Christmas.

Sending cards this year. I have several boxes of discounted cards I got at WalMart in after-Christmas sales, but this year I bought Peace Dove cards from UNICEF --- hoping to spread the hope for peace.

I love sending Christmas cards. I have been making them for three years and will be sending about the same amount as last year. This years cards are a little more involved, but worth it.

We send out cards once in a while but usually not. I think I may go ahead and send them this year...maybe. LOL Oh, and we don't live near any family so they're all mailed except for the neighbors' which we'll walk down to them.

I send out Christmas cards every year. Mostly, the ones I mail are to some internet friends I have. The other cards I give out, I wait until my mom's side of the family has their annual Christmas dinner, and then I hand deliver them. Every year we take Christmas pictures, and I include them in each card.

I'm sending them out. I love to get them, so I feel I must send them out to be fair!!
This is only my third year sending them out, and yes, I'm increasing because the last two years I forgot to send them to my BF's family (
) so I really have to remember them this year. But total, I only send about 20.

We're sending/giving very few this year. Too long of an explanation as to how we decided who gets one and who doesn't.

I'm sending out about 15 cards, same as last year. I like sending Christmas cards and I like receiving them.

I'm not doing it this year. I am simplifying, and I don't really have the money to send them out like I have in the past. I am sending only a couple out--one to my best friend and one to Dave's college friend who we see only once every couple of years.

For me it feels like an old fashion tradition in this age of internet and instant messaging. So since Christmas makes me all sentimental I'm sending them out. BUT, it is the age of the internet, so instead of the traditional family letter, our family web page link will be included.
