Really cute book about a frugal family Christmas.
Angel Pig and the Hidden Christmas by Jan WaldronI
f you can get this book out of the library, I highly recommend it- it advocates a Christmas without consumerism. And the drawings are lovely and clever- one pig wears a "fur" coat that has a little tag on it that reads "FAKE FUR."
Very cute book- anyway, read more about it here:

And almost completely OT, the author also wrote her owns meoirs about giving up a daughter for adoption- I can't wait to read it, and I just ordered it from my library system. It is called Giving Away Simone.
