So were getting a Christmas tree...
I have been quite bummed these past few weeks. DH asked me if I wanted to get a Christmas tree. We hate this apartment and haven't had a tree in three years. I thought about it and I think it will help to lift my spirits a bit. So we are going out tonight to get one and now I can't wait!

I think you're smart.
I feel down in grey weather ... and I have found that anything that cheers me up is a GOOD thing. A lighted tree is one of those things.
So are ...
* thrift store shopping sprees
* good videos (checked out from the library)
* cozy books and drinks

Thanks Pepper!

Early Bird, Thanks for your other ideas.
I haven't been diagnosed, but every year darkness seems to have a worse effect on me. This year has been the worst, but there have been other stressors in my life besides just the darkness. I will try anything! Last week was awful.
I also need to bump up my exercise again. I wanted to actually walk to work this morning but it was 6 degrees out! DH drove me to work instead.
Let hope the tree helps!

Put on some Christmas carols, make a mug of hot cider or hot cocoa and decorate away! The tree lights always make me smile!
