    Default Finally feels like Christmas!

    It's finally beginning to feel like Christmas in our home. We have had the decorations, tree, and lights up on the house for sometime, but it just didn't feel like Christmas to me. I think I was discouraged because of gift giving. Last night DH and I managed to combine some gift cards and CVS Extracare Bucks and get $135 worth of presents for free!! It felt awesome to pick out some of the items the boys wanted. We did spend more than that, but it sure made things easier knowing most of it was free.

    I sure am glad I accumulated some extracare bucks. I had $35 to spend at CVS. They had a MP3 player for 49.99. All of the boys asked for one, but I could only get one there for $15.

    We used gift cards at Wal-Mart that I received from MyPoints, one from my work for a Christmas gift, and one from DH's work as a Christmas gift.

    The best part is we still have money in our pockets and the boys will receive most of what they wanted for Christmas.

    You did great Michelle! I agree that it is finally beginning to feel like Christmas. We've had our tree up for over a week but not until I did the last little bit decorating today did it finally begin to feel like it's that time again.

    You really, really did great with those gift cards.
