It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!!
I am finally getting into the mood of it all. I started baking cookies. I am making rocky road, sugar, peanut butter, and red &green M&M cookies. So far I have finished off all of the PB ones and have started the M&M ones, second tray is in the oven. Tomorrow I gotta make a pumpkin pie and an apple pie.
I got DH's gifts finished and have now wrapped all the knitted gifts I am gonna do. (the house socks for the kids will have to wait. I am burned out.)
I used the last of a few gift cards to pick up the first season of the Muppet Show at walmart for the kids. I loved that show as a kid and I am hoping the kids like it too.
Ds1 and i have been working on the carols he needs to know (or at least have a general knowledge of) for a recital at church on Sunday. He's learning Silent Night, Hark the Harold Angels Sing, and Joy to the World. Wish we'd been given more advance warning. Can't wait, i am taking my video camera...and camera!~~ Missy ~~

I agree MIssy! I was thinking just this morning that I am actually excited about Christmas now. Maybe not having money has made it easier because I don't feel the pressure to get that last minute gift for someone. My gifts are wrapped and under the tree, all the packages made it to their destinations, and we are baking sugar cookies tomorrow for Santa!

This season has taken a toll on alot of us it seems. It also took me a while to get into the Christmas spirit, but I am there.
I am glad the spirit is filling your home too!

I am finally at peace about Christmas this year.
I don't have to cook a big meal as we're going to my sisters.
I went yesterday and got everything but stocking stuffers.
Need to do that this afternoon after Doug gets out of work.
Not going near the mall today ( but Doug works at Sears in the Mall lol )
Merry Christmas Everyone
