Now's the time!
To buy clearanced Christmas fabric for making gift bags. I"m also going to be looking for blue or silver fabric to use for decorating for Doug and Brenda's wedding. Twinkle lights and ribbons. . . . anything blue or silver.
Don't forget to look for silver or gold items if you know of an upcoming 25th or 50th anniversary too! I saved tons of money on my parents party items by buying at the after Christmas sales.

Thanks so much for the reminder. Next time I get near a fabric store, I'll have that on my list -- along with the upholstery pins and sewing thread!

Thanks for the idea for weddings and anniversaries. I'll be doing something for my parents' 50th in 2007, so I hope I remember that. I did buy gold and silver wrapping and bows after Christmas one year to use for weddings.
