Christmas Tree Recycling

I would like to encourage all who had a cut tree this year to look for ways to recycle it. Some cities collect trees and turn them into mulch. Our apartment community is collecting trees that will then be taken across the road to the wildlife management area to be used as animal habitat. Please if possible find a way to return your tree to the earth.

I didn't see this before, but we leave ours out back, and our neighbor (the nursery owner) takes it and either turns it into mulch or puts it into the chopper and essentially composts it.
