Taking down the Christmas tree today - when does yours come down?
I've had mine up since Dec. 1st and I'm tired of it. I've almost got it down and put away. It'll be nice to have the space again that it took up.
When does yours come down?

We take ours down after New Years. Probably next Monday - I think DH is off work then. Of course, we didn't get ours until right before Christmas either.

We didn't put our up until the 24th. We will take it down New years day or the day after. I will cut off the branches and use them to mulch my garden. I put just the tree trunk our for the tree collector. Our township recycles the trees into pine mulch.

Ours went up the 18th and will be coming down the 1st.
2 weeks is long enough.
Don't know how those of you who put it up the day after Thanksgiving deal with it in the way so long. Maybe you have lots of room, lol.

I hate taking them back down (I have 2 full sized and a few mini trees around the house.) Ours will probably come down this weekend.

Ours has been up since the weekend after Thanksgiving so I am also ready to put it away......it is coming down today!!

I encourage everyone to look into recycling options in their communities. Some collect trees and turn them into mulch as already mentioned. In other areas Christmas trees are collected and used for animal habitat in wildlife management areas. Those who live in rural areas may find use for them on your own property. Please at least consider giving your tree back to the earth.

We already took ours down. The boys put it up around the Thanksgiving holidays and I was tired of it. So it is already boxed up and put back in the shed.

I will probably wait until 1/3...when the kids go back to school. That way they don't have to hear me swear at the *&^#(# lights that get all tangled in the branches
