Christmas gifts...
I really need to get a big jump start on candle making so that I can have a bunch to give away for Christmas 06.... I want to make enough for each siblings, aunts, mil, grandparents and some friends and teachers-total of about 25... Maybe I can challenge myself to let all of you know how I am doing for more of that accountability that I keep saying I need.... So I am needing to make two or three candles a month to keep a steady stream going.. Wish me luck... Anyone wanting to join can... I really don't mind.. Any and all the help and ideas I can get will be appreciated...

I think its a great challenge. I'd like to make at least one Christmas gift per month in 2006. It would be so nice to have everything made by Dec. 1st.
I'm in.

I am all out of FO's, and after reading this thread, I'm itching to make some more candles.
I've been stuck on making wickless candles! I love those candle warmers.

Wickless candles!!! I never thought of that.. I will have to file that away in the back of my head.. Great idea, especially if you can find an inexpensive holder and give homemade wickless candles. Thanks.

Great idea. If I knew how to make candles, I would do the same. I think I will strive to at least work on 1 Christmas gift per month. Actually, I give gifts year round, so I could be working on bday gifts now too for the future months.
