Do special occasions cause you stress?
I've learned to relax through holidays, be it Easter, Christmas or birthdays. They use to cause me a huge amount of stress, however I've slowed down considerably when it comes to celebrations.

I am very rarely stressed. The only time I would be stressed is if something happened in my family.

I'm not as stressed as I used to be but I still been to improve.
Recently I realized by trying to be "superwoman" I'm not only harming myself but I'm also teaching my dd to fall into this trap. Time to make more changes. Baby steps

I'm only stressed when we have to visit relatives ... or they're coming here.
If it's just my nuclear family, we have a lot of laughs, although nothing LOOKS perfect. For example, for Christmas dinner, everything was done except the potatoes. So, instead of baked potatoes w/ our ham, we had HAM SANDWICHES! And desserts!2012 Knitting in progress

When entertaining at home I try to get everything done ahead of time so I can relax with my guests. Also serve tried & true dishes.
As I get older I've learned to make small talk with strangers and feel much more comfortable no matter where I am.~*Darlene*~

All holidays cause me stress. Between gift giving, cooking, cleaning and trying to please everybody, I am usually exhausted. SO........ I am trying to remember that I can only do the best that I can do and that I am NOT the only person responsible.

Not all holidays cause me stress. Usually I am only stressed during the Christmas holiday. I am learning more and more to relax though.

Yes, a lot of stress. It helped to dejunk the perfect expectation, but it has more to do with stuff I went thru earlier in my life before I met dh and married him and had our two kids. I've tried to keep it low key both for me, and also to help our kids stay relaxed thru their lives as well.

No not really. I've never hosted a holiday get-together so that's probably why. We always go to my MIL's. The only thing that sort of stresses me out is wondering where the money will come from to buy gifts. But that won't happen anymore so...I'll be stress free.
