Question Do you decorate for all holidays?

If not, which do you do? There are some that I just don't have the decorations for--namely the patriotic ones. I am going to put together some decorations (will probably make most of them) for one of my friends who is getting married. I think it would be really cool to get decorations for all holidays and not have to worry about shopping for them myself.

I usually only put up a few things for Halloween. But I am starting to collect stuff from garage sales for other holidays. There are always Christmas items at garage sales--and Easter baskets.

I do extreme Christmas decorations. Beyond that, I keep it seasonal--when the Christmas stuff comes down, a valentines wreath goes on the door, then that is traded for a St Pats wreath, after that my shell wreath goes up until late September when I "do fall". I actually put out mums and a few mini scarecrows, pumpkins etc. Christmas is really the only holiday that I do throughout the house, otherwise a wreath and centerpiece and I'm done.

I don't bother with aany of them. There is only Gregg and I and we don't make a big deal of the holidays. We are glad to not have to work that is about it.

I do have decorations for Valentines Day, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas, but for the past 2 years I have only decorated for Halloween & Christmas.

Most of my decorations are old and I'm just not into using them anymore. I'm looking for ones that match my primitive country decorating throughout the house

My goal is to change my front door wreath and my welcome mat each month. I am still working on my decorations. I am trying to get the mats after each holiday, when they are marked down. I decorate inside at Christmas but, I don't do as much as when the kids were home.

Christmas is really the only holiday we decorate for (and we have about six BIG boxes of decorations in the shed full of Christmas stuff). For Halloween, we do pumpkins and baskets of candy on Easter but nothing major.
