Default Clash of the Holidays Party

I used to have an annual Clash of the Holidays party every July or August. We would decorate the house with every holiday decoration we could find. Everyone would bring a small gift, and a dish from their favorite holiday. I'd send out invites asking for RSVP's as to the type of dish, so I could be sure we'd get a good mix. We'd start the party with a New Year's toast, and end with Christmas and the gift exchange. Other holidays were celebrated inbetween. Loads of fun, laughs and a good way to break up the monotony of the summer. I think I'll do this again this summer for my dd and her friends.

Have you submitted this to Woman's day? It's a super idea. Sounds like a lot of fun.

What a clever notion! That's a great idea! I should mention that to my family, we always do some kind of big get-together in the summer. That could be a neat plan!
