I love your work! How long does it take you to decorate your usual cookie & how long do they have to sit to dry? This is probably a stupid question but can your decorated cookies go into a cookie jar or are they wrapped flat and stay that way?

Thanks so much. I never really "timed" a single cookie, but doing a bunch usually is a 3 day process. I bake the first day, decorate the second, and bag/package and deliver/or customer picks up the third.
The royal icing dries hard enough to stack and put into a cookie jar-I have given cookies in a jar as presents with no problem. The royal usually takes at least 12 hours to dry completely, depending on the humidity, temp. and such. I usually wait 12-18 hours before I package them to be on the safe side. They ship very well too.
