Default Do You Prefer Gift Bags Or Do you Wrap Your Presents?

I do use a few gift bags but I think presents should be wrapped unless they are just to oddly shaped to wrap. My sister hates wrapping and only uses gift bags. I have made small homemade gift bags before for small gifts, and I love wrapping gifts in brown paper and making my own bows.

I'm usually wrapping like crazy the last day or two before the kids get out for Christmas break. This year, I'll have even less time since Christmas eve is on a Sunday...they have school all the way up until the Friday before.

The only time I use gift bags is for baby showers & birthdays. And Christmas presents that are too big for wrapping.

Hummm well I used to wrap ALL the presents even odd shaped ones but that became so time consuming when I did it all myself so now I just put all the kids stuff in one of those BIG sacks (1 for each kid), I gift bag the other small stuff and I wrap some but I mean only a few like 3 or 4.

It depends on the gift. Items in a box I ususally gift wrap. I spent 2 xmas seasons gift wrapping in a department store. The odd shaped or a gift with many small items I use a bag. I always dress up a bag with ribbons and bows. For the kids, when they were little and they liked to rip open the paper, I wrapped. Now that they are grown, I bag the gifts.

I use gift bags for adults. I usually wrap presents for my nieces and nephews and when I have kids I will probably wrap those as well.

I prefer bags because they are so much quicker, but I also wrap too.

Usually gift bags here. I especially like to use fabric ones (less trash!).

I'm with Amanda, gift bags for the adults, wrapped for the children.
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

I discovered gift bags a few years ago and it's hard to go back to wrapping anything!

It depends on what it is for me. I probably do half & half. Most of the kids I wrap because they just love unwrapping!!

I do both. There is nothing like a gift bag for those hard to wrap gifts.

I do both, but mainly wrapping. It's a big job and the kids tear into it so quickly, but they still really enjoy it.
