Christmas Spirit
This is the first time in about 5 years I have the Christmas Spirit.
I am so looking fortward to the Holidays this year.
I am going to be baking alot of goodies this week. Friday and Saturday for sure.
Have a Christmas party with Dougs family Sunday night.
Had one at my sisters with friends last Sat, they gave me a surprise birthday party also.
Then we will have family Christmas at my sisters on the Friday night
after Christmas ....
Doing up goodie baskets for all.
I am sooooo loving shopping this year .
2007 look out I'm on the move for a change........

That's great! I am just the oppostite but it will be fine.
I have the 24th dinner at my parents, then home for Christmas, then DH has his Xmas party on the 29th so hopefully it will be fun.

I have managed to catch the Xmas Spirit this year as well. Maybe because its been so balmy -- instead of the usual ice n snow. Enjoy your tasks I say!

I have no Christmas Spirit. It would not hurt my feeling for that day to fly by. I would not even have a tree up if it would not be for my boys. I did not decorate this year like I have in the past. Just not in the mood.

I am sort of in between. I am very much into the Christmas spirit as far as singing songs, going to see Santa, and doing Christmas crafts with DS goes, but I just do not want to shop or put up a tree.
I guess its kind of good, because I want to spend time with family and do things like that more than I want to give into the commercial parts of Christmas.....but I guess we've been doing the gifts and tree for so long it seems sometimes like that is what Christmas is all about.

It started off slow this year with us being away for Thanksgiving and not being home to start my normal routine,.....then there was family disharmoney about which day was being held at whose house, ect., ect., I love Christmas and it was making me feel yucky so I just decided it was my choice to have the season family centered and PEACEFUL or rushed and miserable. I've chosen the peaceful, home centered road and have definately gotten into the spirit since consiously making the choice!!!!! Now when something pops up I'm consiously focusing on if it fits into the tone/spirit I want for my family this year.
