Question What food/goodies are you making NOW for Christmas?

I think the only things I can make ahead of time are the pb blossoms cookies & Rice Krispy treats. Everything else needs to wait until a couple of days before.

    What are you making now?

I'm making cookie dough and freezing it. I've also been making peanut brittle. Most everything else will have to wait til next week though.

I've frozen some dough for chocolate chip cookies, and I've made my pie crusts and frozen them for next week. DS helped me make some gingerbread men, but they seem to have mysteriously disappeared into our stomachs instead of into the freezer where I meant for them to go

I made 8 dozen cookies for a cookie swap. I was really lazy this year and just made drop cookies. I would like to make Hawaiian fruit cakes as a little extra gift but if I don't get to it it's no big deal.
Next week is candy making with my dd's and their friends.
I will make 10 lbs. of fudge and they will make peanut butter balls, mint patties, dip pretzels, and whatever else they can think of. Everyone brings a tin home and the rest I save for Christmas Eve.
After that I will move onto food for our Christmas Eve open house.

I made two batches of biscotti yesterday and chocolate dipped pretzels the day before that. Today the kids & I are making snickerdoodles. I/we will also make gumdrop cookies, peanut butter blossoms, chocolate chip, and sugar cookies.

I have a bunch of pumpkin/chocochip bread in the freezer. Today is my last exam, so I'm planning on starting cookies this weekend (after I catch up on housework). So far, I'm planning on thumbprints, mexican wedding cookies, choco chip, and oatmeal scotchies.

I'll be making bourbon balls at some point in the next few days and starting up on the biscotti. i've already started on the fudge as my kids took some to school for thier teachers. Hmmm....I'll probably do some three color cookies in the next few days too since they freeze really well.

Would you mind sharing your recipe (or anyone else with a tried & true recipe)? I've never made these before and have always wanted to.

    TIA

I haven't made anything yet this year, which is a bit unusual. I'm not going all out this year like I usually do though, so that's part of the reason.
