    Default Hubby's Christmas Bonus!

    Yesterday I went shopping with the gift cards my hubby got from work. He got $65 and I didn't have to use any cash for all I got (I even had a few dollars left). I saved $32 using coupons too! He works in a glass factory, which makes jars and bottles.Every year his company sends and gets and assortment of the jobs the have done that past year filled with the products. Everyone gets a box full of goodies. I thought I'd list what I got to see if you ever use any of these products. Here goes:Rio Grand Steak Sauce;Vermont Maple Syrup;BryantPresering:Tomolives(small picked tomatoes);Ginderbread scented candle by Stat candles;Cheltan House Salsa; Drew', Italian garlic salad dressing;4C Romano chees;Frog Ranch bread and butter pickles and salsa;Garner's grape jelly;Green mountain gringo salsa;
    gold's mustard with horseradish; Paesana vodka pasta sauce;McCutheon apple butter and cider;Pompeian olive oil,Tamari soy sauce; Spice barn cinnamon sugar;Trappist strawberry preserves and TeePee green olives(which we opened last night and snacked on while playing a game together, Yum!)

    ~Awesome! Sean didn't get a Christmas bonus, but he did just get a 4th quarter profit sharing bonus. It was $300, but after taxes and such we banked $180. Sean spent all of it already I'm sure. He's been shopping every day after work. Yesterday he spent $75 on the kids and who knows how much on me. I'm sure its gone, but we all benefit because he loes to shop and I love getting spoiled on my b-day!~

    Wow don't you love those extras? I have heard of a few of those, but not most.....yum sounds like fun sampling all that stuff....ENJOY!

    My hubby got a check for $140.00 and a gift card for $25.00 and from the christmas party he brought home 2 20lb. bags of shrimp, a bunch of Baron beef, ham slices, a extra veggie tray, bbq meatballs, some cheese cubes and a whole bunch of those little butter pads. Some went into the freezer and we pigged on the rest.....I just love free food, it tastes soooo good.

    Hubby gets a $50 check, a gift basket filled with beef sausage sticks, 3 large cheese balls, olives, nuts, crackers, fudge, cookies, candy, oranges, tangerines, apples, a large whole pineapple and a bottle of sparkling cranberry celebration juice cocktail.

    His supervisor gave him a $50 gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse.

    We munched on the gift basket goodies last night while watching tv. I love those beef sausage sticks!!

    We were shocked this year to find out that DH got $1700 (before taxes) for a bonus. And he only got half, since he started in April and didn't work the full year. Even better, it was paid on the 14th, so we could actually USE it for Christmas!

    I'm jealous of all of you - DH doesn't get a Christmas bonus, and I got a snow globe.

    My DH just got his Christmas bonus yesterday. $2500 before taxes....$1600 after. We are buying a new mattress and the rest is going into savings.

    We usually get $100 each (me and BF work at the same company) but this year nobody got it. Not a good year I guess. It was a bit of a dissappointment because when you get it year after year, you usually depend on recieving it.
