Smile Who still has Christmas parties to attend?

    I do!

On one side of my family, the Christmas party isn't until New Year's Eve this year... we normally have it the Sunday after Christmas, and that happens to be New Year's Eve, so now it's turning into a New Year's Eve slumber party (yes, for adults & kids, 25 in all!!!) at my Aunt & Uncle's house. We will be sleeping on floors, couches, and chairs, but I think it will be fun.

Oh gosh no.... I'm soooo glad that our parties are pretty much done. We have a wedding (dd of a close friend) to attend on the 30th and that's pretty much it for me and parties this year. I'm exhausted...I cooked more this weekend than I have in the entire past 6 months...

All of ours are done---thank goodness. We had 6 in all. Between the stress of travel, my dh picked a wonderful time to be selfish and not help with the baby at all. He watched me struggle to keep the baby occupied and happy while I opened gift after gift and during his 5 minutes of holding the baby he passed him back to me twice so he could open a present.

I'm kind of down anyway, this is the first Christmas I didn't spend with my parents and my brother is deployed to Iraq and I miss him really bad right now.

one more. For dh's work. I am thinking we might not go. They've pretty much made this holiday a miserable one. It's on the 30th

We're "having Christmas" on Sunday (30th) with my sister & brother-in-law. And then we always spend New Year's with my grandparents, which brings the holidays to a close for us.
