I remember these from my childhood. I wish I had remembered these in the past years when I have participated in the Village card exchange, I would have several sets of them to remember me of my Village friends. I will be making one from my cards from this year though. I will have a special Christmas memory of my Village buddies when I see it at Christmas time filled with scented pine cones.

Here is a couple of things I do with mine. Gift tags, I use a hole punch and some ribbon to tie the tag onto recycled gift bags. I have cut up really cute ones for victorian type ornaments for the tree. Brown paper packages with a recycled card, some raffia, and a few pine cones, and greenery glued or tied on make beautful packages.
In fact I like Christmas cards so much I have been buying vintage cards when ever I see them. Not too sure what I am going to do with them yet but I just love the old cards. This year I found some goregous pop ups at Good Will, lots sparkle and some great Bible versus in them.
